Oh Italy, probably one of the most perfect places in the world for a destination wedding!

Planning a wedding in Italy? ok, you have my attention! I would love to hear what you're organising for your destination wedding. Italy has always been one of my favourite places in Europe to document couples' celebrations and for so many good reasons, interesting history, beautiful scenery, fantastic food, and wonderful weather.

There are also so many different locations in Italy to get married that each wedding can be unique to one others, from the grandeur of the Italian Alps to the majestic Tuscany or even the rustic charm of Puglia on the boot of Italy. But for me Italy is all about the food, how can you not love the Pasta, Pizza, wine but especially the ice cream. I would love to explore more of this beautiful country so it doesn't matter where in the country you're planning your marriage celebrations, I would love to fly over and document it for you, La Dolce Vita...

Tuscany

Ahhh Tuscany, with its rolling hills, dramatic countryside, and endearing villages, is a true utopia for couples looking for sun-rich destination weddings so no surprise that many couples choose to tie the knot in this idyllic region of Italy. There are also so my fantastic cities in Tuscany from Pisa, Siena & San Gimignano but one of my favourite cities has to be Florence, the birthplace of the Renaissance. From the grand architecture to the world-renowned art, it's a place that will leave a lasting impression on all who visit. It's a city where the past and the present coexist, making it an unforgettable destination for weddings in Italy.

Almafi Coast

The Amalfi Coast, a stretch of rugged coastline in southern Italy, is a place of natural beauty and coastal allure. From the charming villages of Positano and Ravello to the vibrant town of Amalfi, it's a place that will leave a lasting impression on all who visit but especially for you and your guests travelling to the wedding. The coastal views, the delicious seafood and the beautiful gardens are a true delight for the senses. It's a place where one can truly relax, unwind and let the beauty of lush green hills and sparkling blue waters envelop them. I'm planning a holiday back as soon as possible.

Rome

Rome is a city that has stood the test of time and has a lot to offer for couples looking for a slice of history in their destination weddings. It is often referred to as the "Eternal City" because of its ancient ruins and monuments that date back to the Roman Empire, such as the Colosseum, the Pantheon, and the Roman Forum. These ancient landmarks are a testament to the grandeur and engineering prowess of the Roman civilization. The city also offers a vibrant nightlife, delicious cuisine, and some of the tastiest ice cream in the world. To be honest, it's got my attention just with that, I can't wait to go back!

Puglia

Puglia, a region in the heel of Italy's boot, is a place of rustic charm and natural beauty and one of the best places in Italy to get married. Known for its olive oil, seafood, and traditional dishes like orecchiette pasta and panzerotti it will make all your wedding guests happy with full bellies. The region is also home to many historical and cultural sites, including the ancient city of Ostuni, the Baroque city of Lecce, and the Castel del Monte. Its charming trulli, beautiful beaches, and delicious cuisine make it a must-see destination for anyone looking to experience the best of what Italy has to offer.

How long will you stay before and after our wedding in Italy?

For destination weddings, I like to arrive at least a day before the wedding so I can get to know the area and the venue. In some cases, I would arrive 2 days before I can make it to the wedding in good time. I would usually fly out the day after the wedding.

02.

Will there be any extra costs for destination wedding photography?

Yes, the amount depends on which package you select. For the top package with two photographers for weddings in Europe, I add a flat fee of £800 for flights, accommodation, rental car and any other travel expense. For the favourite package weddings in Europe, I add a flat fee of £600 for expenses. For international weddings outside Europe, please get in touch.

03.

How do we go about booking you for our Italy destination wedding?

Wherever the location for your wedding firstly get in touch and check my availability for your date. If I'm available, then all you will need to do is pay a 20% non-refundable retainer (This will guarantee that no else books me for your wedding date) from the price of the package you select and sign an online contract to secure my services. The expenses will need to be paid eight months before the weddings, so I can purchase my flight and finally the remaining balance one month before your wedding date.

Why choose me over a local photographer?

So you could definitely choose a local photographer over a travelling destination wedding photographer but sometimes each country has a unique style and method to wedding photographer. Do your research on photographers in the country of your wedding, if you don't feel the style is right for your day then a destination photographer is the way to go.
